Henderson House
Alexandra Imports supports the Henderson House, a nonprofit organization based in McMinnville, Ore. that provides services to women and children who have experienced domestic abuse.
The Henderson House's has been working for more than 20 years to empower victim/survivors to identify and utilize the strengths within themselves. The organization provides direct service, education and outreach to women and children all over the Northwest in order to break this cycle of abuse.

SOS Village
SOS Children's Villages is an international child welfare organization providing long term care for orphans and children in need. Although they have orphanages all over the world, Alexandra Imports contributes to the particular facility in Jaipur.
The Jaipur SOS Village cares for more than 150 children in 14 family houses. The children are grouped together in these houses with a "house mother," or someone who will specifically look after them and help them prepare meals and get ready for school. There is a classroom on the site where the children are learning to read and write through local teachers. In addition, the SOS Village has several play areas and recreational equipment to ensure that the kids have a safe place in which to run around. A peacock also lives on the grounds.
The Jaipur organization places an emphasis on higher education and trade schools and, as a result, has had numerous success stories. The SOS Village also advocates for their children to get married so they can build a family of their own.
In addition to the on site work with the orphans, the Jaipur SOS facility also maintains several outreach programs to poor children in the city so they can access an education. It also lends financial and emotional support to local single mothers.
